According to details published by OpenAI, Sophos relies on a system designated as Daybreak to handle incident analysis. The technology is deployed to assist technical personnel during operational workflows.
The deployment has produced measurable operational efficiency gains across security reviews. OpenAI reports that the tool enables Sophos to cut cyber-threat investigation time by 96 percent. Furthermore, the organization automates 52 percent of MDR cases while preserving human oversight over the processes.
