“Independent” has to be verifiable. Here we answer the questions you should ask a platform like ours.
How is AI Connect funded?
AI Connect is in its build-up phase and currently completely free — we generate no revenue at the moment. The plan is to fund the platform through qualified provider enquiries: if AI Connect forwards an enquiry to a provider in the future, that provider may pay a fee for it. As soon as this starts, we will disclose it transparently right here. For readers, AI Connect stays free.
Can providers buy placements or rankings?
No. There are no paid placements — not in the provider directory, not in the Model Compass, not in the news. Model Compass recommendations are editorially maintained and justified; they are neither an automatic nor a purchasable ranking.
How do we decide which story ranks first?
By recency and editorial relevance. The AI radar updates several times a day; ordering follows publication date and editorial weighting — never commercial interests.
AI Connect is “Powered by Velentis” — are in-house products favoured?
No. Products from the Velentis network (such as Jarvis, DocuMind, ImmoMind) are explicitly labelled “own product” everywhere and run separately from the neutral directory. They get neither better placement nor milder assessment.
How are the news stories produced?
AI-assisted, editorially controlled: an automated editorial process researches verified sources several times a day and documents every story with source links and individually checked claims. Anything not conclusively confirmed is marked as such — including in the headline. Each article's evidence score openly shows how well a story is substantiated.
What can't we do yet?
AI Connect is a young product: sections vary in depth, areas like jobs and network are still being built, and we correct continuously. If you spot an error, write to us — we take corrections seriously.
