NVIDIA has marked one year since it open-sourced its Aerial wireless software. The platform joined Sionna and an expanded ecosystem of open-source resources designed to accelerate next-generation 6G network development. By releasing these frameworks openly, the company aimed to provide telecom researchers with shared resources to advance wireless architecture.
Together, the software suite functions as a collaborative base where teams can evaluate novel concepts, compare empirical findings, and build directly upon peer research. The workflow is built to bridge computational modeling and artificial intelligence training with practical experiments conducted on physical over-the-air wireless environments.
