Nvidia has introduced RTX Spark as an integrated superchip platform designed to merge multiple computing functions. The company characterizes the release as an overhaul that brings together the functions of a gaming rig, a studio workstation, and a personal artificial intelligence supercomputer. By consolidating these functions into one chip, the system targets users seeking varied high-performance workloads on a personal machine.
In terms of hardware specifications, the newly announced processor features up to 128GB of unified memory. Alongside this memory pool, RTX Spark provides 1 petaflop of AI compute performance. Nvidia confirmed that this hardware configuration delivers the full stack of NVIDIA RTX technologies.
