At the heart of the new architecture lies Dalet's proprietary AI platform, Dalia, which serves as the central orchestration engine for specialized agents. Unlike traditional automation tools, these software agents operate largely independently and make decision choices based on predefined rules and live data streams. They are capable of dynamically coordinating complex production steps without requiring human operators to manually intervene at every single stage. The platform connects modern language models and vision analytics directly with established broadcast infrastructure.
The functional scope of the agents covers the entire live production pipeline of a sports broadcast. Among the initial tasks is automated ingest, where incoming video feeds are captured, indexed, and tagged with metadata in real time. Furthermore, the systems take over time-critical regulatory compliance checks to ensure that legal standards for live broadcasting are strictly maintained. This continuous monitoring significantly relieves technical control room crews from tedious manual inspection tasks.
Another primary application involves the rapid generation of match highlights for diverse digital distribution channels. The AI agents independently identify decisive game moments, generate matching video clips, and format them instantly for online platforms and social media. Simultaneously, cloud integrations with AWS and Google Cloud enable immediate audio localization. As a result, live sports feeds can be processed with automated voice translation and speech synthesis for international audiences in real time.
