AWS Professional Services has introduced a system designed to assist organizations moving their workloads into cloud environments. According to the company, the team relies on a "multi-agent framework built on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore to automate enterprise cloud migrations end to end" across enterprise architectures. This deployment coordinates multiple software units to carry out tasks that previously required extensive manual oversight.
Within the framework, specialized components take responsibility for several distinct stages of the cloud transition lifecycle. Specifically, "Purpose-built AI agents handle discovery, infrastructure as code generation, portfolio governance, and post-migration operations" throughout each project. By shifting these engineering responsibilities to autonomous agents, the platform achieves measurable efficiency gains, "reducing IaC development time from weeks to minutes" for technical teams.
