Amazon Web Services has published an architectural framework describing how to stand up a "governed, multi-account Agentic AI Platform on Amazon Bedrock AgentCore" across enterprise cloud environments. The publication introduces an "open-source reference blueprint" intended to guide technical implementations. Central to this architecture are structural elements that include a formal "operating model" alongside a dedicated "control plane". Together, these components define how autonomous systems can be managed systematically within a distributed infrastructure.
Within the blueprint, workloads are partitioned using dedicated "per-Workstream cells" to isolate operational environments. The architecture also establishes distinct boundaries for system traffic by deploying "separate inference and tool gateways" for agent activities. Furthermore, release management is enforced through a "CI/CD evaluation pipeline that gates each agent before production" systems receive updates. This validation step ensures that each agent must pass predefined checks prior to deployment.
